Yarn Labeling, Part 2
From the input received here, on my FB page and directly, it seems like the most important components of a good label would be composition, weight, length, and category (sport, worsted, bulky, etc). Does that sound right? Thanks!
Yarn labeling
At a recent meeting of Belfast Mini Mills owners, we had quite a discussion about yarn labeling. I would love input about what information would be most helpful to you in planning your projects. Length, weight and composition are a given, I think. What about YPP? WPI? Thanks!
Open House
Thank you to all who attended the Open House! It was busy all day. Met lots of new people, and Jack (the alpaca) is now the official mascot at the mill. He was so good with all the children who visited. The Allegany 4-H group had a tour in the afternoon, and they will be following up at their next meeting with a fiber project.
